Medical Assistant Training in Indiana
91ÌÒÉ« Tech’s new Medical Assistant school in Indiana can prepare graduates to sit for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam. The eligibility is earned when a 91ÌÒÉ« Tech Medical Assisting student satisfactorily completes their program coursework. After passing this exam, graduates are eligible to pursue entry-level positions as Registered Medical Assistants, as well as Office Medical Assistants, EKG Technicians, or Unit/Ward Clerks in hospitals. Changes in managed healthcare and the expansion of private group practices require well-trained Medical Assistants that possess clinical, administrative, and laboratory skills. These in-demand skills can be earned at 91ÌÒÉ« Tech.
While our Indiana campus has offered automotive and skilled trades career-focused education programs for more than 60 years, we added Medical Assistant training to help meet the growing demand for these skills.
At 91ÌÒÉ« Tech’s Medical Assistant school, the training program culminates with a 160-hour clinical externship. This is designed to give students valuable real-world experience before they graduate.
